The Tale Of The Tape…Of Tale Of The Tape

We decided to tally up all of our new “Tale of the Email Tape” features in order to see which publications are on top of their game when it comes to being the first to alert us of breaking news.

For each breaking news event, the publication that was first to send its respective e-mail received three points, second place got two points, third place got one. The current tally is as follows:

MSNBC: 15
Politico: 15
Wall Street Journal: 9
CNN: 8
USA Today: 8
L.A. Times: 5
Washington Post: 3
ABC: 2
Roll Call: 1
