The Washington Times’ A-Section Debuts Citizen Journalism

Announced today and beginning next week, TWT will add one print page for citizen journalism to their daily paper’s A-Section. The citizen journalism page will focus on different communities of interest to TWT readers each day: academia on Monday, Metro suburbs on Tuesday, DC on Wednesday, military bases on Thursday, faith communities on Friday and charities and good works on Sunday.

Former Editorial Page Editor Deborah Simmons is editing the District, the suburbs, academia, faith and good works pages. Grace Vuoto, of TWT‘s BaseNews.com will lead up editing duties for the Thursday’s military base coverage.
