W Moves Back Into White House (Neighborhood)
Under the basking glow of moonlight – and careful watch of night vision goggles – Washington’s media star-studded cast assembled to christen a new “see and be seen” restaurant overlooking 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue last night.
Ashley Parker, Scott McCrary, Christy Findlay, Ana Marie Cox, Doug Heye, Missy Frederick, Ali McSherry, Anna Palmer, Christina Wilkie, Jane Black, Amanda McClements, Melissa McCart, Rachel Cothran, Michele Kayal, Barbara Delollis, Corinna Lothar, Kevin Chaffee, Amy Cavanaugh, Karen Sommer Shallett and many more came out to welcome Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his new restaurant – J&G Steakhouse – at W Washington, DC. Barbara Martin and Carrie Foster of The Patton Group hosted the event.
After a fabulous spread and book-signing, the retinue gathered on the rooftop for desserts and to be watched from The White House “not through a set of binoculars.”
