Well Played, Posties, Well Played…

FishbowlDC has been sporadically publishing the Washington Post’s internal critiques for over a year now, but journalism is nothing if not sloth-like in its evolution (see: Newspaper websites).

So, it was after our promise to share with you their daily critiques that the Posties finally got hip to the long-standing practice and cried out, “Yee gads! The little people will be able to read our critiques?!? What ever shall we do?!?”

Hence, we now discover that the Post has enabled some fancy-dancy software that prevents cutting and pasting, and thus prevents some of you readers from being a part of the Post’s efforts to improve itself.

We’ll grant you this round, Posties. You’ve successfully put that wall back up between you and your readers.

But to our readers, we assure you the critiques shall surface again…
