WHFS

The news that WHFS, D.C.’s famous alt rock station had without warning switched to a Spanish-language format, made the front page news, and now DCist has word from a “source” that-just like the old Monty Python skit, it might not be dead yet.

The popular station, proud namesake of the HFStival will instead be a radio station on Radio@AOL, and as Dave Hughes at DCRTV reports, some of the WHFS personalities will be heard on a Baltimore’s WXYV Live 105.7. Fishbowl can’t tune in to the internet radio because the player wasn’t Mac-friendly, but let us know if it’s working for you…

(NOTE: Radio and Records reports the over-the-air switch might have worked.)
