Host Chuck Todd is appallingly out today and missed the soup segment. “It’s not just the potato, it’s loaded potato,” a very animated substitute host Chris Cillizza remarked. The WaPo reporter added, “A little chives in there, sour cream, bacon. That sounds like my kind of thing. And apparently MC Hammer likes loaded potato soup too.” A Hammer tune blared in the background as he announced the soup. Good news: Cillizza is getting the hang of this.
