White House Soup of the Day (Indian Style)
There’s a twist on today’s White House Soup of the Day as presented by MNSBC’s The Daily Rundown. The soup: Dal Qureshi (delivered to the all-night filing center in India, where co-host Savannah Guthrie is working during POTUS’s 10-day trip to India). “They bring in food because we really never leave,” she said on this morning’s program. “It’s actually quite tragic.”
Guthrie said the soup is delicious with a piece of naan.
Todd joked, “I’ll tell you, I’ll take none of the above.” He then relented. “I’ll take naan. I love naan. [This is a] lentil-based soup packed with all kinds of hot and spicy.”
