‘Yet More Change’ at Roll Call

In an email entitled “Yet more change,” Roll Call’s Managing Editor David Meyers reported today that yet another member of the paper’s staff is leaving–bringing the total to five over the summer and the second departure this week.

Sonny Bunch, an editorial assistant at the paper, will be leaving next month to be join the Weekly Standard as assistant editor for Books and Arts.

“Sonny has been with Roll Call since the summer of 2004, when he joined us as a year-long intern. In that role, he became an integral member of Operation Kondracke, wrote the Hill Climbers column, and did a great deal of reporting,” Meyers wrote.

Bunch will leave Roll Call on September 16th, and start at the conservative mag soon thereafter.

On Monday, the paper’s White House correspondent announced that he was heading over to Washingtonpost.com.
