And here I thought, when I joked on Thursday that the endorsement of Hegemony or Survival by Latin American leader Hugo Chavez might lead Noam Chomsky to replace Frank Rich as America’s best selling liberal, that I was just being hyperbolic. Well, that book became the #1 title on Amazon.com Friday morning, and it’s still there as I check in the wee hours of this morning. Funny old world… but we’ll keep our own counsel on whether this sudden surge of interest in left-wing reading matter will have any bearing on the midterm elections.
