I was told by my editor that it's okay to be blatantly self-promotional from time to time, so I thought I'd just mention that I'll be promoting my new book, The Stewardess Is Flying the Plane!, at the Borders on the corner of Park & 57th tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. But it's not just me you'll get to see; in the words of Paper magazine:

I'm pretty psyched about this, because it was reading Joe Bob Goes to the Drive-In twenty years ago that pretty much turned me into a film historian.
