Add Your 9/11 Story to September 11 Memorial & Museum Archive

The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, HISTORY and Broadcastr are teaming up to archive 9/11 stories from around the country. You can listen to different voices at this link to Broadcastr’s collection.

If you want to share your story, call this toll free number and record your story: 855-We-Remember (855-937-3636). If you visit the 9/11 Memorial Visitor Center at the World Trade Center site, you will also be able to record your story.

Here’s more from the release: “Stories and memories will be retained in the museum’s oral history archive, and some will be shared through the Broadcastr platform … Each story on Broadcastr is geo-tagged to a physical location. At the World Trade Center site, visitors can use the mobile app to stream featured stories automatically as they explore. The app plays whatever story is tagged to your physical location, leaving your eyes and hands free to experience the Memorial.”
