Another Chick-Lit Cover with Legs
In the words of Rachel Kramer Bussel, “Is it me, or does this cover look nothing like Judith Regan?” Still, color me impressed that Warner’s going to the trouble of putting the cover to Bridie Clark’s much-anticipated novel up on Amazon nine months in advance of the pub date…and I like all the ways it goes against the usual chick-lit cover grain, from the blue tone to the stone-cold solid typeface, even as it spotlights the cartoony babe. (Note to the designer: please don’t go spoiling it by sticking a blurb in that blank upper-right hand corner!)
