All week our digital book obsessed sibling eBookNewser has been collecting Apple Tablet rumors–preparing for the Jan. 27 Apple (AAPL) announcement about their “latest creation.” Here are some links that will haunt the dreams of most publishing folks this weekend…

One Apple insider thinks this picture closely resembles the actual Apple Tablet.

eBookNewser readers debated the coziness of three different reading devices: a tablet computer, the Kindle, and the good-old-fashioned book.

According to one report, HarperCollins, McGraw-Hill, and Hachette may all in partnership discussions with Apple about tablet content.

Here’s an excerpt: “Perhaps slightly more revealing is a graph in the same article citing Peter Balis, director of digital content sales at Wiley, who admits to having ongoing talks with Apple about bringing Wiley content to ‘Apple devices,’ though not the tablet specifically.”
