Jonathan Lethem Unveils New WorkIn that exclusive video interview, novelist Jonathan Lethem discussed his upcoming work on a reissue of a classic set of novels by Nathanael West. GalleyCat caught up with the novelist at Lawrence Weschler's inaugural Wonder Cabinet celebration on Saturday. During the festivities, Lethem read a week-old story entitled, "The Dreaming Jaw, the Salivating Ear." It chronicled the surreal struggle between a blogger and a cruel reader lurking in the blog's comments section. When asked about his own experiences with Internet commenters, the novelist recalled some "insane, vitriolic" exchanges he'd read in the Salon.com letters section.
