Last year, while promoting 211 Things A Clever Boy Can Do (like remove your underwear without taking off your pants - though Owen Wilson did it better in Zoolander), producers found Cutler so charming to work with they asked him back to promote the sister book. The problem was that it's written under the pseudonym Bunty Cutler but that didn't stop Tom who was excited to take on the personna of "Bunty."

"My wife said I looked the part but I gave her the willies when I spoke. She said it was just like having Eleanor Roosevelt in the room," says Tom, aka Bunty. "I don't mind shaving, and I'm used to it, but I drew the line when my editor asked me to do a full Brazilian for the photographs. Honestly, it's been pure hell practicing and pretending to be a woman. I've learned to live with the high heels, and I don't mind these nylons, but I don't like it now that I've started to snap at people. I think it must be the PMS."

After a lot of back and forth with his Penguin editor, Marian Lizzi, and publicist, Melissa Broder, Tom has decided to go on as: "Tom: Bunty's brother," for his nationwide interviews that begin on Monday May 5th. "I simply don't own enough shoes to be convincing as a girl," he said.
