Our FishbowlNY colleague Dylan Stableford is at it again, trotting out his "sell more than 15 copies" line one more time to snark at Jessica Cutler's Amazon.com sales rank and how The Washingtonienne didn't seem to jump that high after he finessed her withdrawal from next week's bloggers-with-book-deals panel into Page Six and Gawker mentions for the event. At this juncture, perhaps we should respectfully point out that (a) the Amazon sales rank is largely sound and fury signifying nothing, and (b) our pal Jessica's novel has been out for nearly a year and a half, and she's sold about 25,000 copies so far. 15 goes into that, well, a lot of times over.

Oh, but it really is going to be a good panel, even without Jessica around. I got to hang out a bit with Michael Malice Wednesday night over X-rated stripper cake, and he's a hoot and a half. Any panel he's on is bound to be entertaining, and our other guests aren't slouches, either.
