With Macmillan and Ex-Hubby as his first guests, tooIt had to happen. Not just because he's worked behind the camera, but because the whole "He's Not That Into You" Craze had to expand past readers to viewers. And so -- at least tentatively -- meet The Greg Behrendt Show. Reuters reports that this is "the first project to come out of the deal that Sony Pictures Television, the Tribune Broadcasting stations and Tribune Entertainment Co. cut in the spring to develop and produce first-run syndicated programs." And you know what happens when conglomerates get together: they produce daytime talk shows! Behrendt's show is scheduled to launch in daytime in fall 2006, and the pitch is that he'll offer "common-sense, comedic advice." Of course, by then Terry and Jonathan will be old hat, and some fresh quasi-literary breakup scandal will take over, don't you think? Email This Post |
