Book Deal for SC Governor Mark Sanford’s Wife

Earlier this year, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford (pictured) lost his book deal when he admitted to an affair with an Argentinian woman. Now, his wife has landed her own book deal.

According to the NY Times, Random House’s Ballantine imprint will publish Jenny Sanford‘s untitled memoir in May 2010. The book “will grapple with the universal issue of maintaining integrity and a sense of self during life’s difficult times,” the publisher explained. No financial details about the deal have been released.
