Craig Seymour Bares his Tour on YoutubeIf you ever wanted to know what its like behind the scenes of an author tour, check out Craig Seymour's video posts on his book tour for All I Could Bare: My Life in the Strip Clubs of Gay D.C. His tour of his hotel is hilarious, plus you get to see him do a phone interview as well. PW has my favorite quote of the week on his book: "Sure to please the hedonistic gay man in (almost) all of us." According to Seymour, his book is the funny, offbeat story of how I started stripping as a part of a graduate school project and ultimately found the experience—which included both highs (money, adoration, camaraderie) and lows (ill-fated attempts at hustling, a humiliating porn audition)—to be life changing. Through various twists of fate, stripping led me to become an entertainment journalist (I've written for The Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, and Vibe, among others; and the book includes humorous run-ins with Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, and Mary J. Blige). Email This Post |
