This is probably old news to some of you, but just in case: PW put out the numbers on Novemer's bookstore sales, citing a 7.5 percent rise for the month, with revenues of $1.19 billion. That rate of acceleration was ahead of the entire retail segment, which only showed a gain of 6.7 percent. On the other hand, the very slow start in early 2007 means that the year-to-date revenues only went up by 0.8 percent. We'll see what happens when the holiday stats come in...
