Cancer Vixen Graphic Novelist Now Blogger

Back in November, I told you about Laura Zigman‘s cancer blog for HealthCentral.com. Last week, the original “Cancer Vixen,” Marisa Acocella Marchetto, joined Zigman on the site with the debut of a new blog which combines essay writing with all-new illustrations. In her first weekly post, Marchetto celebrates last month’s summit conference of breast cancer research organizations and the possibility that this “culture of collaboration” could speed up the search for a cure, and criticizes “all the divided-we-fall, back-stabby friendly fire out there” that could get in the way of that process.
