Children’s Literary Awards Get a Dash of Reality TV

At this year’s American Library Association conference Jim Averbeck and Maria Van Lieshout (with a little help from kidlit blogger Betsy Bird) conducted a string of red carpet interviews on the night of the Newbery-Caldecott awards banquet, then took some of that footage and put together this Project Runway parody. (It’s about ten minutes long—perfect for that Monday morning cup of coffee, perhaps?)
