Daniel Craig to Star in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Adaptation

Deadline NY reports that actor Daniel Craig will star in the David Fincher-directed English language adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

The James Bond actor is will play the hard-nosed journalist, Mikael Blomkvist. The film is set for December 2011 release. A Swedish adaptation of the bestselling novel has already hit box office gold. Last week we linked to a list of the female leads being considered for the adaptation.
