Dateline BEA: The Madness Begins

Although the biggest trade show in the industry doesn’t officially kick off till Thursday, many people – ourselves included – will be travelling down to DC today. And so, GalleyCat HQ promises lots and lots of coverage, not only of the events, the panels and the book room (which will be massive, claustrophobia-inducing and downright traffic jamtastic, if last year’s event was anything to go by) but of the hot stories, the must-attend parties, the commentary (ours and others) and hopefully, the gossip. Lots and lots of gossip. We won’t be liveblogging—with all the catalogs and galleys winding up in all those bookbags, who has the strength to carry a laptop?—but we promise to make your Friday and Monday mornings awfully interesting.
