Matt Richtell cited two recent blogger deaths in his Sunday’s New York Times article In Web World of 24/7 Stress, Writers Blog Till They Drop. He goes on to say that “Other bloggers complain of weight loss or gain, sleep disorders, exhaustion and other maladies born of the nonstop strain of producing for a news and information cycle that is as always-on as the Internet.” As the new co-editor of Galleycat I thought I would update you on my experience so far today. While my weight hasn’t fluctuated radically, the overwhelming onslaught of incoming email and learning curve on movabletype has led to a feeling of anxiety centered below or around my solar plexus. Ron says that as long as I remember to breathe, though, I should be okay.
