Dog Days 2008: Chachi Is A Close Reader

Leslie Banks spent more than a dozen years in the book publishing business before she became the director of marketing for Morningstar’s advisor business section. “I rescued Chachi two years ago while I was eating brunch with a friend,” she says. “We were eating outside and I noticed a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix sitting with a group of women next to us. After I commented how cute Chachi was, one of the women mentioned she does foster care for a local rescue group. I ended up leaving brunch with Chachi in tow!” Now he gets to go just about everywhere with Banks, including her book group (“I think he’s nearsighted,” she quips).
