Cathy Fox Holstein dead at 54
Publishers Lunch reports that Cathy Fox Holstein, whose 26-year publishing career included stints at Macmillan, Random House and Penguin Group USA, died at her home in Ossining, NY on Sunday after an eight-month fight with lung cancer. She was 54. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, business journalist William J. Holstein, and their children, Jason and Alison. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 1 p.m. at the First Unitarian Society of Westchester on Old Jackson Road in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to the Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, 2 Lyon Place, White Plains, NY 10601.
