Journalist and author Ron Rosenbaum bashed "commenter culture" in a recent essay, calling out the "anonymous cowards" who leave disparaging comments on the web--all to build ammunition for an essay about "digital lynch mobs" in an upcoming essay collection.

His post referenced a recent NY Times essay entitled "Comment is King" about how authors struggle with comment critics. Rosenbaum fired off insults at anonymous critics, hoping to provoke them to surface in his new essay for the collection.
