FlashForward TV Adaptation Fans to Stage Global Demostrations

cousffsmtp.jpgIn May, ABC canceled the science fiction drama FlashForward. On June 10th, fans around the world will stage demonstrations to bring back the television show adapted from a novel by Hugo Award-winning science fiction writer Robert J. Sawyer.

In protest, fans around the world have started fan pages, organized on Twitter, and uploaded about the show. Some will even stage a fake two-minute “blackout.” Follow this link for GalleyCat’s interview with Sawyer.

Here’s about the demonstration, from the site: “Basically for the June 10th demonstrations, gather as many friends, family members as you can and Go to your local ABC station, or as close as you can, (millennium park is where its happening for Chicago) and hold up signs saying ‘Save flashforward,” t-shirts of flashforward, any merchandise of flashforward. The protest could even be a 2:17 second fan blackout. This will get the media’s attention.”
