Glenn Beck Unveils Book Trailer for The Overton Window

Today conservative Fox News host Glenn Beck unveiled one of the more surreal book trailers we’ve seen in a long time–supporting his first thriller, The Overton Window. The trailer quotes Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “The Gods of the Copybook Headings.

The author and talk show host pulls in $13 million a year through his print operations, dwarfing the $2 million he earns from television. This summer he’ll test the limits of his publishing career with a new novel. As we’ve noted, Beck also holds an Oprah-like sway over conservative readers.

Earlier this year let readers help pick the cover for his upcoming thriller. His readers choose a cover with a alternate version of the Statue of Liberty, featuring a bearded man with a staff instead of Lady Liberty.
