Greenleaf Recognized on the Rise

Inc. has released its latest list of the 500 fastest growing companies in America, and this year it features Greenleaf Book Group at #224. The small publisher, based out of Austin, Texas, attributes its success to a business model that “combines the most powerful benefits of traditional publishing with all the perks of self-publishing and eliminate the downfalls of both,” according to CEO Clint Greenleaf. “We offer our authors the quality, distribution power, and experience of a major publisher and the ownership and financial advantages of self-publishing.” They must be doing something right: To get on the list, you had to have at least $600,000 in net sales back in 2002 and have grown significantly for the subsequent three years.
