So we got cc’ed on this message to the Gawker crew by a woman who “was doing some searching on the web, and came across this event” (okay, if that’s your story, we’ll buy it for now) which will be held at Iona, a bar in Williamsburg, tomorrow night in memory of Robert Burns (left). I suppose if you can’t find a Scottish bar, an Irish pub’s the next best thing—anyhow, they’re going to be handing out Laphroaig and haggis, the latter of which would bring me there in a shot were it not for previous commitments, so go on and RSVP to burns @ thelmagazine.com and see if you can charm your way in.
