Let’s Speculate Wildly About That Mystery Book!

Still no word on William Morrow’s mysterious embargoed book, but yesterday’s news that they finally arrested somebody for the Jon Benet Ramsey murder almost made me rethink my Michael Jackson theory. I mean, it’d have to be one hell of an inside job for them to be able to get a book out about this by early September, right? Either that, or they’d be completely soiling themselves on East 53rd trying to figure out what to do with 300,000 copies of sludge. Of course, if you’re in the building, and you see Morrow execs running around like chickens with their heads cut off this morning, go ahead and tell us. And what the heck: Any of our Colorado readers heard about any Mark Fuhrman sightings in Boulder this year?

But, really, I’m sticking with Chris Andersen on Jacko. Another industry observer suggested Angelina Jolie, but I’m standing firm.
