Kelly Cherry's bichon frise, Pippin, is "not nearly as large as the camera makes him look," she says, "but slightly too big to meet the show requirements. Fortunately, he's not interested in being shown. He's as sweet as can be, very, very smart, and loves to travel." Cherry and her husband, Burke Davis III are both writers and live on a small farm in Virginia—"which is why Pip is not gussied up."
