Marley & Me‘s Agent Discovers Puppy Love

“Even though I’m John Grogan‘s agent, I never understood the hoopla about dogs,” confesses Laurie Abkemeier of DeFiore and Company. “So it came as a big surprise to a lot of people that my kids and I brought home a puppy last month. His name is Russell, and he’s a 3-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He’s also the world’s most awesome dog. I still don’t quite get what the big deal is about dogs, but I sure get how great this one is.”
