Nebraskans Get Sneak Preview of Sittenfeld’s Latest

You may recall Emily’s short interview with Curtis Stittenfeld last month about her new novel, American Wife. Well, Timothy Schaffert sent along this picture of what we’re told is Sittenfeld’s first public reading from the book, at last week’s Nebraska Summer Writers’ Conference. Other speakers at the conference included local boy made good Kurt Andersen, Sean Wilsey, Harley Jane Kozak, and Meghan Daum (who famously moved to Nebraska when she couldn’t afford New York City on a freelancer’s wages).
