Nine Writers Receive $50K “United States Artist” Fellowships

United States Artists named its 2007 fellows last week, and though I’m personally excited to see two of my favorite clarinettist-composers, Don Byron and Evan Ziporyn, on the list, this is, after all, a book publishing blog, so let’s take a moment to congratulate the literary artists who each received one of the $50,000 grants.
