2008 National Book Award Nominees: Young Adult
At noon today, in Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater, novelist Scott Turow announced the nominees for the 2008 National Book Awards. Chosen from 274 titles submitted by publishers, the nominees for Young People's Literature are: Laurie Halse Anderson for Chains; Kathi Appelt for The Underneath; Judy Blundell for What I Saw and How I Lied; E.
