I've written about YA author Maureen Johnson a few times on GalleyCat, most notably when an Oklahoma mom freaked out over one of her novels. So it was a real pleasure to meet Johnson last week at the launch party for her latest novel, Suite Scarlett, where fellow YA authors Justine Larbalestier, Scott Westerfeld, and Libba Bray (among many others) came to cheer her on.
