The Part About The Granta PartyWriters from around the world gathered at Idlewild Books in Manhattan last night, toasting the release of Granta 105. As guest mingled among the geographically-shelved books, there was a Roberto Bolaño-themed undercurrent in the literary conversation. Like any good Bolaño hero, GalleyCat investigated these coincidences, interviewing novelist John Wray, Dallas Morning News Mexico bureau chief Alfredo Corchado, and bookstore owner David Del Vecchio about how "2666" has influenced their work.
