We all know in the publishing world that online marketing is all the rage, what with the social networking sites, twittering, blogging, et al, its now standard and necessary part of any campaign. Well, if you got the cred:

Minimum 5 years prior experience in online marketing
Very strong understanding of the Web and/or experience producing for the Web
Knowledge of HTML and some knowledge of XML and CSS
Some knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge of social networking sites as well as Web 2.0 ideas such as wikis, blogs, podcasts, crowdsourcing, etc.

Then you might be right for the gig. The Director of Online Marketing works directly with the various Penguin marketing, promotion and publicity departments to ensure that they each have the web support and placement they need on frontlist and backlist titles.
