Last Friday, we told you how various forces were rallying against the holiday retail blues in an effort to convince consumers to keep buying books for the rest of 2008 (and beyond). Here’s another campaign along those lines from Bookreporter.com, which is listing 45 reasons a book makes a perfect gift, starting last Tuesday with “it provides hours of entertainment” and working their way up to Christmas morning.
