Snyder’s Book Party Takes the Cake

We didn’t actually get to go to Sunday’s launch party for Voodoo Heart, the debut short story collection from Scott Snyder, but Scott (full disclosure: he and I once did our best, with help from novelist April Reynolds, to fill the hearts of Sarah Lawrence creative writing students with fear) sent us a picture of the cake his parents had made for the occasion. Yep, that’s a full rendition of the book’s jacket illustration in frosting…man, I want one of those for my book cover!
