So Much for My Hotel’s High-Speed Internet

If I seem unusually quiet this morning, it’s because the ‘net connection in my Washington, D.C., hotel room turned out to be an imaginary feature rather than an actual one, and so my usual posting pattern of staying up until 2 A.M. and postdating items to appear throughout the morning while I sleep has been totally disrupted. As it is, I’m barely managing to post this apology from the “business center” while a bunch of other impatient guests wait for me to free up the one Ethernet port. But I’m demanding a better room for tonight, so I should be able to post about all of today’s panels and parties.
