Stephen King (pictured) will be making a guest appearance on the TV series, Sons of Anarchy airing on Tuesday, September 21st.

King will play the character “Bachman.” The TV series writers made an interesting name choice considering the author had published under the pen name, Richard Bachman for several years. The press release reports that Bachman is “an associate of Tig’s (Kim Coates) who is highly skilled in an unusual profession and called upon to help Gemma (Katey Sagal) and Tara (Maggie Siff) out of a bind.”

King exhibits a variety of creative interests with projects in the works for theater, television, comic books, and fiction writing. He announced in February 2010 he was working on a book collection which will contain four previously unpublished novellas entitled Full Dark, No Stars. Just this year, King netted $34 million making him the third highest paid author for 2010.
