The Secret Origins of Spider-Man

The comic book blogosphere has been anticipating Jonathan Ross‘s In Search of Steve Ditko for months, but Americans weren’t sure when, if ever, they’d get to see the BBC4 documentary, since a film that tries to tease out the life story of the artist who co-created Spider-Man isn’t a likely candidate to turn up on any American networks any time soon. Fortunately, there’s YouTube, and now the entire show has been uploaded in seven segments. Here’s the first:
