Nick Trautwein Moves to Penguin PressPenguin Press has hired Nick Trautwein as a nonfiction editor, the NY Observer reported. Earlier this year, Vanessa Mobley decided to leave Penguin Press and her spot remained open. Since 2006, Trautwein had edited at Bloomsbury, working on titles like Garry Kasparov's "How Life Imitates Chess" and Kingsley Amis's "Everyday Drinking." Last year, he spoke with GalleyCat about his literary jazz band in this exclusive video. Here's more from the article: "Mr. Trautwein leaves Bloomsbury at a moment when the house is beginning to regroup from a turbulent year during which its longtime publisher, Karen Rinaldi, and its editor in chief, Colin Dickerman both decamped for Rodale Books amid financial uncertainty."
