Thriller Writers Raise Funds for RIF

Last Saturday, the International Thriller Writers held a luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, Connecticut, to raise money for Reading Is Fundamental and present besetselling children’s author R. L. Stine with the ITW Silver Bullet Award “for his contribution to the world of literacy.” As author Jon Land explained, “The key thing to get more adults to read is to get more kids to read—that’s why we are honoring Stine.” Silver Bullets were also presented to Heather Graham, Tom Doherty, and Scholastic Books, along with Pitney Bowes and the Greenwich Rotary.
