On a recent episode of MTV’s fake reality show ‘The Hills,’ Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag reached a pinnacle of fake drama in their fake breakup when they divvied up the contents of their fake, fake, fake bookshelf. “Empires of the Sand, that’s your book, right?” Spencer asked Heidi. She said that it was. Who knew that Heidi was interested in the military history of the Middle East? Other titles visible on the bookshelf include Legacy of Ashes, Tim Weiner’s bestselling history of the CIA, and a book called The Movie Business, which is “the definitive guide to getting your movie made.”
