Palm smartphone users have a new, easy way to block unwanted calls without checking caller ID or turning off the phone's ringer.

MobiHand has come out with CallBlock Ringtone Edition, software that can be set to filter incoming calls and text messages from specific numbers, those starting or ending with certain numbers or a group of numbers the user assigned to a certain ringtone, PalmAddicts reports.

The software also has different modes like temporarily allowing calls through, only accepting calls from VIPs or permanently blocking certain numbers.
